National Summit on America’s Children
The National Summit on America’s
Children was convened on May 22nd on Capitol Hill by Speaker of the
House Nancy Pelosi to document the latest knowledge about how to improve
the well-being of our nation’s children. MCC Executive Director Jetta
Bernier was invited by Congressman John Tierney to attend the historic
event which was aimed at assisting lawmakers in the development of new

The Massachusetts Dental Society honored MCC Director Jetta Bernier
on May 11th at its Annual Meeting of Delegates in Boston. President of
the Society Dr. Alan Gold presented Jetta with the Richard L. Allard
Award for outstanding achievements in the field of child abuse
prevention.
