Mission
The Mission of the Massachusetts Campaign for Children
is to build and maintain a statewide, grassroots membership
organizaiton to engage in non-partisan electoral and legislative
actions at the local and state level that promote the
well-being of all Massachusetts children, youth, and their
families.
The Campaign believes that all our children have the right
to be economically secure, healthy, well-educated, and
nurtured in strong families within safe communities.
The Campaign promotes the rights
of all Massachusetts Children:

To
be economically secure and free from poverty and its
debilitating effects on their health, nutrition, safety,
academic achievement and capacity to envision a better
future.

To
have a healthy start to life, receive quality medical
care, and early and regular preventive care and supports.

To
learn and achieve in schools and early childhood settings
that are grounded in quality and equality.

To
be safe from all forms of abuse, neglect, exploitation,
and violence.

To
live in a nurturing family surrounded by healthy communities
and workplaces that support the development of strong
families.
The
Campaign for Children is committed to the participation
of diverse peoples, groups, organizations and communities.
Our membership and leadership will reflect a variety of
races, cultures, linguistic groups, religions/spiritual
beliefs, and nationalities. We seek to be representative
of all ages, genders, sexual orientations, socioeconomic
classes, and educational levels, as well as physical,
emotional and mental abilities.
